Translation Coordinator – French (m/f), Köln

 Key tasks:

  • Coordinating the translation of hotel descriptions from English into French
  • Recruiting freelancers (translators)
  • Allocating work packages and tasks among the freelancers
  • Assuring quality by adhering to defined quality assurance guidelines
  • Adhering to quantitative guidelines
  • Query management
  • Budget control
  • Evaluation of work performance
  • Administrative tasks such as invoicing
  • Translating HRS internal documents from different departments such as Marketing, Finance, HR, and others into French

Your profile:

  • You are a native speaker of French and have excellent knowledge of English and German.
  • You have successfully completed a degree in translation/languages,  or completed a similar professional training.
  • You already have experience in translation and ideally are able to demonstrate professional experience in the field of Project Management of translations and Personnel Management.
  • You have strong organisational skills and demonstrate that you are capable of working accurately and using structured working methods.
  • You have good working knowledge of MS Office and are confident carrying out online research; ideally, you have experience with the use of translation tools.
  • Very good writing skills in terms of style and orthography are a must.
  • You are a team player who is also capable of working independently and autonomously
